How long does the Operations Manual review process take?2018-02-01T17:26:34+00:00

The first review of your Operations Manual is usually completed and returned to you within ten working days. We can also conduct extra reviews following on from amendments made by yourselves. Learn more about the Operations Manual review service here.

How do I send my Operations Manual to you?2018-02-01T17:35:47+00:00

Its simple, just use the form found here to send your operations manual. Enter your details and upload your manual and then submit, you will receive confirmation that your manual has been submitted successfully. Alternatively, you can email it directly to us at admin@rpasservice.com.

How do I pay for my Operations Manual review?2018-02-01T17:41:50+00:00

Once you submit your Operations Manual for review RPAS Service will produce an invoice which will be emailed directly to you. You then have several options to pay. If you would like to know more then just drop us a line or use the contact form.

Do I need previous flying experience?2018-02-01T17:47:05+00:00

It isn’t strictly necessary for individuals to have any previous flying experience of unmanned aircraft as RPAS Service can teach pupils right from their initial introduction into the community. Why not give us a ring to discuss your very own bespoke training package.

Do I need commercial insurance to take practical training sessions?2018-02-01T18:04:27+00:00

Legally, you do not need commercial insurance or any form of insurance to undertake practical training sessions if your aircraft weighs under 7kg. However, we strongly recommend that you join the British Model Flying Association which offers access to many additional benefits including Design, Data and Development insurance at a sensible cost which covers unmanned flying activities which neither fall into traditional ‘hobby’ or commercial operator categories.

Do I need to bring my own aircraft for practical training?2018-02-01T18:21:22+00:00

Not necessarily. Although we recommend that pupils bring their own aircraft and equipment to practice with, pupils can hire suitable equipment from RPAS Service to utilise during practical training sessions. To find out more contact our administration team.
